Registering as a Doctor
Dr Pages is a voluntary directory for medically qualified, GMC-registered doctors. Registering takes a few minutes, and every application is checked before it goes live.
How it works
- Submit your details — full name, GMC number, medical school, year of qualification, and specialty.
- We verify your registration — we look up your GMC number on the GMC’s public register and confirm your name, medical school, and year of qualification match their record before approving your profile.
- We may contact you directly if anything needs confirming before approval.
- Once approved, your profile appears in the Member Listing, and you can log in to update it at any time.
We aim to review applications within 28 working days. There is no fee to register.
What’s public and what isn’t
Your name, qualification, and specialty are shown publicly once approved. Your contact details and GMC number are never made public — they’re used only for verification and site administration.
Dr Pages is not a regulator and does not replace the GMC register. It exists to make it easy for patients and colleagues to confirm that someone presenting as a doctor holds a genuine medical qualification and licence to practise.
